The biggest thing you should know about Kate is she loves Iowa. (Especially Des Moines!) She’s a life-long Iowan. She’s been doing the radio thing since 1985 at Valley High School. That’s where her passion for news began; she wanted to be Walter Cronkite or, more likely, Murphy Brown.
She lives in the Drake Neighborhood with four furry children – cats Obi-Wan, Nora Charles, Mikhail and Dr. Sheldon Cooper.
